Hubble Captures Magnificent Image of NGC 4951

NGC 4951 is located approximately 49 million gentle-years a ways from Earth within the constellation of Virgo.

In every other case typically known as AGC 530015, IRAS 13025-0613 or LEDA 45246, this galaxy has a diameter of about 65,000 gentle-years.

It was learned on April 17, 1784 by the German-born British astronomer William Herschel.

The unique image of NGC 4951 is made up of observations from Hubble’s Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3) within the ultraviolet, infrared, and optical aspects of the spectrum.
